During Fall Session 2020, we are allowing only one parent or guardian spectator per child in the gym.

Our recreational gymnastics programs are for boys & girls of all ages, from 6 month old babies to adults wanting to give gymnastics a try. Our certified NCCP coaches guide participants through age and level appropriate programs. All classes are co-ed, unless otherwise indicated. We also offer classes for trampoline, tumbling and cheerleading.  Click any title of the programs below to access class descriptions, times & rates.


PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS (AGE 6 MONTHS to 3)

Parent & Babes (6 Months to Walking) – 30 minute class
Adult accompaniment required. This program is designed for the parent and child to socialize, exercise and explore the gym through play.

Bouncy Babes (Walking to Age 2) – 30 minute class
Adult accompaniment required.  In this class children explore different ways to move in play. Excellent for developing motor skills and spatial awareness, Bouncy Babes introduces children to climbing, hanging,running, jumping, rolling and more. It also begins to teach the structure of gymnastics classes with the help of an adult.

Bouncy Bugs (Age 2) – 45 minute class
Adult accompaniment required.  This class introduces your child to gymnastics through aerobics, elementary tumbling, swinging, jumping, balancing, stretching and group activities. This class helps to develop motor skills and spatial awareness, while also familiarizing children to the structure of classes to prepare them for classes without adult help in the future.

Jumpin’ Gyminies (Age 3) – 45 minute class)
Now old enough to participate without a parent, our coaches will lead your child through a fun, structured program. Jumpin’ Gyminies will start progressing through our in-house level system which focuses on fundamental movements, body positions and basic gymnastics, and having lots of fun while they are at it!


YOUTH GYMNASTICS (AGE 4 to 12)

Kindertastics (Age 4) – 60 minute class
Our Kindertastics program provides fun-filled and age-appropriate gymnastics to introduce boys and girls to basic elements and skills on all apparatus (beam, bars, floor, trampoline and tumble track).  Children in this class will have fun developing balance, strength and coordination while progressing through our in-house level system.

Gymdandies (Age 5) – 60 minute class
Similar to Kindertastics, Gymdandies is a fun-filled class for new and experienced participants to learn basic gymnastics elements and skills on all apparatus (beam, bars, floor, trampoline and tumble track!).  Boys and girls in this class will start (or continue) progressing through our in-house level system.

Adv. Gymdandies (Age 5 to 6) – 120 minute class
Pre-requisite: Minimum level 3 achievement in a previous session. This class is for gymnasts who are interested in spending more time in the gym, developing their strength & flexibility and learning more advanced basics of gymnastics. 

Small Shots (Age 6 to 8) – 90 minute class
This beginner and intermediate class is for boys and girls looking to do gymnastics is a fun and non-competitive environment. They will go on the floor, bars, beam, tumble-track, trampoline and vault.  All classes are catered to the individual levels of each participant as they progress through the nationally developed CAN-GYM program.

Tall Shots (Age 8 to 10) – 90 minute class
This beginner and intermediate class is for boys and girls looking to do gymnastics is a fun and non-competitive environment. They will go on the floor, bars, beam, tumble-track, trampoline and vault.  All classes are catered to the individual levels of each participant as they progress through the nationally developed CAN-GYM program.

Big Shots (Age 10 to 12) – 90 minute class
This beginner and intermediate class is for boys and girls looking to do gymnastics is a fun and non-competitive environment. They will go on the floor, bars, beam, tumble-track, trampoline and vault.  All classes are catered to the individual levels of each participant as they progress through the nationally developed CAN-GYM program.

 Rhythmic Gymnastics (Age 6+) – 60 minute class

We are so excited to announce this new program. Giant Gymnastics is the only gym in town offering a beginner’s Rhythmic class. Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance, and apparatus manipulation.


TEEN & ADULT GYMNASTICS (AGE 13 +)

Teen Gym (Age 13 to 17) – 90 minute class
This class is for new and experienced participants who want to keep fit, practice basics and learn new skills in a safe and relaxed environment. The coaches will lead participants through the CAN-GYM system and/or focus on skill-specific goals.

Adult Drop In (Age 18+) – 60 minute class
Come when you can make it – no commitment required. This drop-in class offers a flexible structure according to the participants needs. Whether you want specific instruction or just want to play (safely!), our coaches are happy to help. Please understand that in the interest of safety, we do not allow “double flips” on trampolines.


ADVANCED PROGRAMS

Keeners (Age 5 to 7) – 4 hours per week (2 x 2hrs each)
Pre-requisite: Special approval & minimum level 4 in the Kindertastics/Gymdandies program. 
This class is for girls who have an ability to learn quickly and have progressed quickly through our Kindertastics and Gymdandies programs. Girls in this class will work to perfect basics, develop strength and flexibility and learn the foundations needed for more advanced skills. To be in this class, girls must be committed to coming two days a week (either Wed/Fri or Thur/Sat) for 2 hours each visit. Special approval is required for this class. Please speak to your child’s coach or call the gym for more details.

Hot Shots (Age 9-12)- 90 minutes of Advanced classes in a non-competitive environment, catered to participant ages & skill level as they progress through the nationally developed CAN-GYM program

Junior Giants (Age 8 to 11) – 4 hours per week (2 x 2hrs each)
Pre-requisite: Special approval & minimum level 4 in the CAN-GYM  program (Small/Tall/Big Shots). 
This class is for girls who have the desire to learn and ability to progress quickly through our beginner programs. Girls in this class will work to perfect basics, develop strength and flexibility and learn the foundations needed for more advanced skills. To be in this class, girls must be committed to coming two days a week (either Tues/Thurs or Mon/Sat) for 2 hours each visit. Please speak to your child’s coach or call the gym for more details.

Senior Giants (Age 11 to 14) – 4 hours per week (2 x 2hrs each)
Pre-requisite: Special approval & minimum level 4 in the CAN-GYM  program (Small/Tall/Big Shots). 
This class is for girls who have the desire to learn and ability to progress quickly through our beginner programs. Girls in this class will work to perfect basics, develop strength and flexibility and learn the foundations needed for more advanced skills. To be in this class, girls must be committed to coming two days a week (either Tues/Thurs or Mon/Sat) for 2 hours each visit.  Please speak to your child’s coach or call the gym for more details.

Junior Developmental (Grade 2 to 4) – 6 hours per week (3 x 2 hrs each)
Pre-requisite: Special approval required & experience in Keeners or Jr/Sr Giants.
Registration for this class is on a yearly basis from September to June. Athletes in this program focus on developing advanced techniques and skills, learning routines, and preparing for an annual in-house showcase.

Senior Developmental (Grade 5+) – 6 hours per week (3 x 2 hrs each)
Pre-requisite: Special approval required & experience in Keeners or Jr/Sr Giants.
Registration for this class is on a yearly basis from September to June. Athletes in this program focus on developing advanced techniques and skills, learning routines, and preparing for an annual “mock meet”.
