1.  What should my child wear?

Your child should wear comfortable clothing that is not too loose or too long.  If your child has long hair please for saftey reason have it tied back.  No socks, and no jewelry please. We also have gymnastic leotards, gymnastic shorts as well t-shirts for sale.

2.  Do I have to register in person?

Once per year you must register in person to fill out our registration form as well as our liability waiver.  This must be done in person.  We suggest that if you want a specific time and day that you come on the first day of registration.

3.  What certification do Giant Gymnastics Coaches have?

All the coaches of Giant Gymnastics have NCCP (National Coaches Certification Program).  We also have coaches in training learning from our certified coaches.  The owner(Jen Nedgial) is a NCCP Learning Facilitator. 

4.  Can I register early?

Only those who are in the program can register early on the specific date required for the class, day and time they are already registered in. Registration is first come first serve.    Please see our news for registration dates.

5.   Can I take pictures?

For safety reasons we ask that you ask, before entering the gym.  Our parent and tot class is the only class when parents are allowed out on the gym floor.  If you wish to take pictures please only of your child, and ask your coach.

6.  Do I have to stay?

The Giant Gymnastics Policy is that parents stay for the ages 2 years to 6 years of age.  Please also make sure we have all your emergency contact information on your registration form and let the coach know that you are leaving.  We also will not let children wait outside.  You must come in to pick up your child.  

7.  Is pizza included in the Birthday parties?

No.  We supply the cake and juice.  You may bring in other foods that are peanut safe.

9.  When is your next registration date?

August 9th is the start of the fall registration, (in person only).  Starting August 10th you can register online.

10.   What is the $15.00 Gymnastics Ontario Fee?

Giant Gymnastics is a member of Gymnastics Ontario also Gymnastics Canada and is charged for this.  This charge is only once per year.  This membership means that your child is also a part of Gymnastics Ontario.  Visit their website at www.gymnasticsontario.com.

11.  Can I let my child play on other equipment while the class is on trampoline during the Parent and Tot class?

 Safety is number one here at Giant Gymnastics.  There must be a certified  coach coaching the children, as well as on other equipment.  A parent is not a certified coach and to allow the children to go on other equipment would not be safe or responsible on our part.  When your child turns 3 they are with a coach and need to learn the structure of a class.
